Storyboarding & Screenplay

Once we had the screenplay finalised, we needed to revise our boards and address some story issues which came up consistently in our Interim Presentation. This is the finalised screenplay which was sent to the voice actors for dialogue:

Three sections needed intense storyboard revisions. I developed these based on the ideas of the whole team, and then passed on the boards to the storyboard artist for a second pass. I recorded rough audio to help the team visualise timing and shot layout.

We then recorded our dialogue professionally in the podcast room at LCC. I also brought in voice actors who recorded their lines over zoom with myself. The dialogue for Jacques and Dominick in the final film is the final recordings, some of Laura’s lines will be re-recorded professionally to push the acting. Isolde’s lines are not yet included in the film, but will be by the time of the grad show.
